My early christmas present מתנת חג מולד מוקדמת

במסגרת החלפת המתנות שאירגנה ניקול המקסימה מהבלוג magicmaid לקראת חג המולד, התקבלה אצלי חבילה השבוע - קצת מוקדם מהצפוי, אבל משמח לא פחות (מה גם שאני לא באמת חוגגת את חג המולד). החבילה נשלחה מהלן - אחת משתי הבלוגריות הבריטיות שמפעילות את הבלוג Helen and Sheenie's nice things. לקים מאנגליה! איזה כיף!!!

החבילה כללה כרטיס ברכה מקסים, שוקולד וסוכריות (שהבת שלי "החרימה" מייד וטוב שכך. אני רק טעמתי), פצירה של אופי, מגנט לונדון מדליק... ו... אני חושבת שהיה שם עוד משהו... לא? אה... כן!

אני מתנצלת שאין לי תמונות של החבילה הנפתחת וכל תכניה הנפלאים...

אבל תמונות של הלקים וסווטצ'ים יש ויש! וגם פה אני צריכה להתנצל: המצלמה שלי גוססת ודי קשה להוציא תמונות טובות, כך שהתמונות הפעם לא מראות את הלקים האלו במלוא הדרם... מצטערת :-(

lovely Nicole from Magicxmaid blog was the one who made it happen, and arranged the big polish blogger gift exchange for chrismas. I got my present this week, a bit early than expected - but so exciting! I got it from Helen, one of the two bloggers from Helen and Sheenei's nice things blog. Sweet Helen sent me some amazing nail polish from England! YAY!!! i

the gift included a lovely card, chocolate and candies (that my daughter took for herself and she did good), a nail file by OPI, a cool London magnet and... that's all?... no! n

four amazing bottles of Barry m's nail polish!!! I'm so excited! and in my favorite colors: blue, green, teal and purple. just perfect.

I apologize for the lack of the parcel's photos -but I do have photos and swatches of the nail polish! and I also have to apologize for the bad quality of the photos. my camera is dying and it's so hard to get a good shot. those colors deserve better than that... sorry :-( n

the glitter I used here is a chinese brand "perfect" and this is new to me. I' got one more of their glitters, and a post about them will come soon.

this was such a good combination - I was wearing it for 3 days! 3 days!!! j

new/old frankens ערבולקים חדשים-ישנים

לא יכולה לכתוב "חדשים" על הערבולקים האלו, מהסיבה הפשוטה שהם נעשו די מזמן, כשהקיץ היה גם לפי לוח השנה ולא רק לפי הטמפרטורות. אבל בכל זאת אני שמחה להציג אותם בפניכם (ויש עוד אחד בקנה...).

אחד ירוק כהה, אחד כחול שמיים מנצנץ ואחד אפור - צבעים שאפשר לראות בהרבה קולקציות חדשות שיצאו - אבל קשה להשיג בארץ.

הירוק נעשה ע"י ערבוב של שקוף, שחור, אבקת צללית מס' 35 של WOW (ירוק כהה) וקצת טורקיז שימרי, וגם כמה טיפות כחול (אורלי קליפסו). הוא יצא לי שקוף מדי, ולכן כאן מצולם על בסיס שכבה של ירוק-טורקיז של EVE (שעדיין לא כתבתי עליו כאן). לא יודעת איך הגיעו הניצנוצים ההולוגרמיים לכאן - זו תעלומה! אבל יצא מקסים.

האפור - על בסיס ג'ל לבן של LIFE- הוספתי 2-3 טיפות שחור של WOW. גם הוא יצא לי מעט שקוף וגם הבסיס לא היה לבן צחור אלא אוף-וויט ולכן הוא אפור שנוטה לצהבהבות מסויימת. לא אפור החלומות שלי, עדיין.

הכחול - על בסיס השימר הלבן של LIFE שכיכב פה בבלוג כטופ על מבחר צבעי לק - הוספתי כחול (אורלי קליפסו), מעט טורקיז (של פרו-ביוטי) - וגם הוא יצא שקוף מעט (השימר ההוא היה שקוף למדי) וגם הוא צולם על בסיס לק אטום - תכלת של שיק. בעיני הוא המוצלח מבין כולם, למרות שגם הירוק יפה. טוב - רק לגבי האפור יש לי ספקות... LOL

I can't say that these frankens are new. they were made when summer was also in the calander and not only in temperatures. I'm happy to show them to you, better late than never (and got another frankens waiting).

Dark green - was made from clear, black and lots of eye shadow (No. 35 of Wow Cosmetics) I also added some blue (calypso by Orly) and some shimmering turquoise) how it got it's holo glitter - I can't remember... it's a mystery. it turned out quite shear, so I layered it over green-turquoise (Eve No. 95 which I didn't write about yet) i

Grey - on a base of shear off-white gel with 2-3 drops of black. it also turned out shear more than I like - and the off white base gave it a yellow tone. I don't like it as much as the other two.

Blue - on the base of Life No. 231 - a white shimmer that I used on almost any color, with some blue (clypso by Orly) and turquoise (pro beauty) it is also shear, but I love how it shimmer! I layered it over Chic light blue, but it looks very much the same without it if I apply 3 coats.

ובהזדמנות זו אני רוצה להראות לכם שבלונות חמודות שמצאתי בחנות מרשת "לינידיסימה" (בסניף קניון חדרה), וניסיתי אותן עם העירבולק הירוק ועם לק כסף. יש גם לבבות, פרפרים, פסים ועוד... עולה בסביבות 6 ש"ח ל-10 מדבקות.

I found this stencil in a local beauty store, and tried it with the green franken and silver polish.

ניסיתי את אחד הלקים של אנדריאה מילנו שקניתי - מס' 11 (שימר מוזהב בבסיס אפרסקי) על הערבולק הירוק.

I layered Andrea Milano No. 11 - a gold shimmer in peach base, over the green franken.

ניסיונות הערבולקים שלי הולכים ותופסים תאוצה. לראשונה ניסיתי לערבב אבקת צלליות בלק שקוף (עובד נפלא!) שיפרתי לק צהוב ניאון שלא היה מתאים לי כמו שהוא וערבבתי לי תכלת-אקווה עדין, בתקווה לימים קרירים יותר...

I got 3 new frankens to show you today. first try of mixing eye shadow powder with clear polish, improving a neon yellow and creating new color of light blue-aqua.

ערבולק ראשון - שאני אקרא לו "קיץ ביערות הכרמל" ;-) הצבע הירוק-אפור הדהוי מעט מזכיר לי את צבע יערות האורנים בארץ החמה והדהויה שלנו... והנצנצים שבו נראים לי מאוד קיציים, למרות שהצבע הכללי מתאים מאוד לצבעי הסתיו. בקיצור - צבע אידיאלי לסוף הקיץ, מתאים לחובבות הירוק והחאקי למיניהן. נעשה עם בסיס שקוף, אבקות צלליות בצבעי ירוק (3 צבעים שונים שערבבתי) ותוספת של כמה טיפות מהירוק של וואו, לק שחור ולק כחול. בנוסף הוספתי לו מעט נצנצים טורקיזים גולד וכמות יפה של נצנצים הולוגרמים של אישה יפה, לאפקט המנצנץ. לק שמורכב מהרבה מרכיבים, טיפה מפה וטיפה משם.

the first franken - "Summer in the Carmel forests" is a green-grey- khaki color, made by mixing 3 colors of eye shadows with clear polish, and to that I added some blue, some green and a drop or two of black. I also added some sparkle with turquoise glitter and holo glitters. a bit of each.

the color is very much like the color of the pine forests on mt. Carmel, here in Israel. the sparkles gave me the summer feeling, but I think this is a good fall color.

ערבולק שני - "חמניות או לא להיות" - צהוב הניאון של איב קיבל באהבה כמה טיפות של אדום וכמה טיפות כתום, והפך לצהוב-חמנייה, חם וקיצי ושמח. עירבולק קליל שנעשה בספונטניות ובזריזות ועם תוצאה מעולה. עכשיו לא תתפסו אותי מתלוננת עוד על שחסרים לי צהובים...

the second franken - "sunflower power" - my neon yellow got some drops of red love and some drops of orange love - and became a yellow creme that I love (and will wear). it was a very easy and fast franken...

עירבולק שלישי - לא החלטתי על שם עדיין, אתן מוזמנות להציע שמות... במקור רציתי משהו דמוי כחול-טיפאני, מעין טורקיז בהיר מאוד. איכשהו באמצע הדרך לשם יצא לי התכלת הירקרק העדין הזה, והתאהבתי. ירדתי מהטיפאני בינתיים, והחלטתי לאמץ את הצבע העדין והרגוע יותר שיצא. אמנם הוא בהיר למדי, אבל אני חושבת שהוא מתאים מאוד לסתיו הישראלי.

הוא נעשה על ידי ערבוב של בסיס לבן-שקוף עם מעט מהתכלת של שיק וקצת ירוק וואו וגם צבע לבן אטום יותר הוכנס בפנים.

the last franken - please help me naming it :-) I can't think of a name... it's sort of light blue - aqua jelly, with a bit green in it. I started with a shear white base and added green, light blue and opaque white to it, to make this color. I meant to make a tiffany blue color, but on the process I got this color and fell in love with it. it's delicate and fun, suits for the end of the summer and to the israeli fall.
